About the Role

Metricon Homes Qld. is seeking a skilled Display Draftsperson to join our National Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality drafting documentation for our display homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date drafting documentation for display homes from concept to handover.
  • Produce drawings to support the workflow process, ensuring customer requirements are met and relevant permits are obtained.
  • Respond to critical customer needs and communicate with relevant departments to resolve on-site issues.
  • Inspect construction of new displays and mark up as-constructed plans at key stages.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the workflow information system to enable accurate reporting of job progress and forecast event dates.
  • Ensure documentation reflects customer requirements, building codes, local authority, and planning requirements.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Building Design/Drafting/Construction or equivalent.

  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Code of Australia, and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
