Technical Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to join our engineering group and help drive the delivery of high-quality software.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership across both backend and frontend development, guide a team of developers, and partner closely with stakeholders to drive forward the feature roadmap.

  • Project Delivery Ownership

Own the technical delivery of projects — from solution design to implementation and deployment.

Backend and Frontend Expertise

Guide backend development using PHP (e.g., Symfony or Laravel) and frontend architecture using Angular.

Infrastructure Design

Work with AWS serverless services to design scalable and cost-effective infrastructure.

CI/CD Pipelines and Automation

Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and manage build processes with tools like Docker.

System Reliability and Performance

Leverage modern tooling and observability practices to maintain system reliability and performance.

Automation Testing

Write and maintain automation tests and write unit tests using frameworks like Cypress or Jest.

Team Leadership and Mentorship

Lead and mentor a team of developers through all phases of software development.

Regular 1:1s and Career Development

Conduct regular 1:1s with developers, supporting their growth and performance.

Feature Discussion and Prioritization

Facilitate feature-level discussions with Product to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and stakeholders to refine and prioritize the team backlog.

Technical Direction and Best Practices

Work closely with the Engineering Manager to define and evolve the team's technical direction and best practices.

Candidate Evaluation and Interviews

Support hiring efforts by participating in candidate evaluation and interviews.
