Operating Theatre Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Technician to join our multidisciplinary perioperative team at St Vincent's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the effective functioning of our Operating Suite.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain equipment and resources for procedures in the Operating Theatre.
- Provide excellent trouble shooting skills and technical knowledge of equipment in the Theatre.
- Ensure patient preparation and care, including safe transportation and positioning.
- Manage Housekeeping to provide a clean environment with all necessary equipment.
- Certificate III in Health (Theatre Technician) or Certificate IV in Operating Suite technical Support.
- Technical aptitude and comfortable working with equipment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Theatre Technician (desirable).
- Current National criminal history check or willingness to obtain.
