Construction Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of our data centre projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely completion. They will be responsible for leading a team of construction professionals, managing contracts, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of building standards, safety regulations, and quality control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the flow of technical information between engineering disciplines and internal/external stakeholders involved in Construction projects.
  • Manage and report to the Head of Construction on progress, forecasting, budget control, procurement and schedule updates, and company procedures/systems.
  • Manage Construction Contracts on behalf of CDC.
  • Liaise with any construction consultants for CDC.
  • Ensure due diligence and compliance requirements are identified and addressed in third party contracts and agreements.
About You:
  • Experience as a Construction Project Manager (ideally with Data Centre or critical infrastructure buildings).
  • Demonstrable successful record on 'similar' scale projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly recognise issues or foresee and navigate risk early.
  • Understanding of mechanical & electrical elements throughout the base build.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and stakeholder skills.

Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level are essential requirements for this role.
