Senior Control Systems Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in delivering innovative automation solutions across complex and rewarding projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems engineering, with a minimum of five years' experience in heavy industry or similar high-risk environments. They will be responsible for defining project requirements, developing clear scopes of work, and ensuring all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
  • Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Promote and contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar high-risk environments
  • Strong client engagement skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
  • Demonstrated understanding of functional and/or machine safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508/61511, IEC 62061, ISO 13849) and their application in engineering design and commissioning
