Job Description

The role of a Risk & Control Officer involves providing central governance and oversight for all business areas within an organization.

Key responsibilities include measuring policy adherence, recommending operational efficiency protocols, and tracking implementing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the risk management framework to enhance MI, demonstrating effectiveness of Risk & Control responsibilities and objectives.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining a comprehensive controls library, reflecting key controls by identifying gaps and communicating rectification controls.
  • Manage 1LOD responsibilities relevant to the Operational Risk Framework, working with Compliance & Group/Regional Risk Management.

About the Role

This is a critical role that works alongside Senior Management to identify and document gaps/enhancements in the current control environment and mature Conduct and Culture framework.

As a Risk & Control Analyst, you will ensure that as risk appetite changes, applicable controls and metrics within each business/function remain adequate.
