Job Opportunity for General Practitioners

Ozhealth Australasia is seeking General Practitioners to join our team in a dedicated Medicinal Cannabis clinic in Wagga Wagga.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced GPs who are interested in upskilling in Medicinal Cannabis and would like to work in a face-to-face clinic setting. The role will involve working with patients who require a referral and/or health summaries from their regular GP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe Medicinal Cannabis to patients in a face-to-face clinic setting
  • Work with patients who require a referral and/or health summaries from their regular GP
  • Bill patients for services provided
  • Meet with patients to discuss their treatment plans and progress
What We Offer
  • 70% of billings with a $180 per hour initial guarantee for 6 months
  • Training to become an Authorised Prescriber provided
  • Opportunity to work in a dedicated Medicinal Cannabis clinic
  • Face-to-face clinic setting
Requirements
  • Billable provider number required
  • Initial consults are charged at $200 (level C rebate) and follow-ups are billed at $85 (level B rebate)
  • Doctors are billing an average of $500 to $600 an hour
