Transport Compliance Specialist

As a Chain of Responsibility Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR) across Kmart Group and contracted third-party providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an audit program aligned with NHVAS and HVNL requirements.
- Schedule, prioritize and conduct audits based on risk and compliance history of transport providers, stores, and distribution centers.
- Prepare clear, evidence-based audit reports identifying non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
- Train and upskill the existing audit team in CoR compliance assurance practices, ensuring consistent understanding and application of NHVR requirements across assurance activities.
- Complete audits efficiently, on time, and cost-effectively.
- Adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple engagements.
- Communicate audit findings clearly, following style and reference guidelines.
- Provide training on frequent audit findings and compliance expectations.
- Build strong relationships with third-party transport providers and internal stakeholders to enhance compliance and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
