Job Summary:
Churches of Christ in Queensland is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Fairhaven Hervey Bay Aged Care Service. As a Night Duty Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and interventions, monitoring resident health status and progress, and educating families about health conditions and medications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and monitor bespoke care plans.
- Monitor and document resident health status and progress.
- Provide guidance and support to our team of dedicated care workers.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in aged care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- A National Police Check or ability to obtain.
- Active CPR Certification.
