Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled professionals to join our team as Occupational Rehabilitation Specialists. As a key member of our rehabilitation services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload management and case coordination;
  • Consultation and mentoring of rehabilitation consultants to support service delivery and customer service goals;
  • Development and implementation of injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaboration with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal return to work outcomes;
  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify suitable employment opportunities and address psychosocial barriers to employment;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or related field;
  • Full membership of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation or related industry;
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion, empathy, and kindness, with ability to provide high-quality care and support;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is essential.
