Job Title: Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with illnesses, disabilities, or injuries to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management: Collaborate with clients and rehabilitation assistants to manage caseloads efficiently.
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes for injured workers.
  • Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees.
  • Collaborating with medical and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Conducting vocational assessments to identify suitable job options and provide injury prevention services.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree with support for obtaining ASORC Membership.
  • Current General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership.
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are required.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
