About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting mission-critical software that enables the power grid to be safer, greener, and more resilient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to define project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering and product expertise.
  • Design, build, integrate, test, and commission power utility SCADA systems for energy transmission, generation, and distribution utilities.
  • Perform testing and resolve identified issues during factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and regression testing.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and continual improvement of our capability, including local staging and IT infrastructure, as well as delivery, training, and support processes.
  • Provide technical expertise to sales and solutions engineering teams as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in automation and computers, with knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML, and XML.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the electric utility industry and/or automation/SCADA project management.
  • Ability to travel to domestic and international customer sites for work in customer premise.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, reporting, and planning skills.
  • Natural curiosity and desire to leverage expertise to develop other team members and improve the work environment.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest in technology and improvement.
