As a Communications Advisor, you will be part of our Marketing and Communications team at Juniper Central office in Balcatta on a permanent full-time basis. Your role will involve creating engaging content for both internal and external stakeholders that aligns to the company brand.
This is a varied position suited to a person who enjoys storytelling and writing in many formats and styles. We are looking for a person who shares our core values and can build strong relationships with our staff, volunteers, clients, residents, and family members.
- Develop communication strategies for key projects for internal and external audiences.
- Manage public relations and media interactions.
- Support brand marketing initiatives.
- Provide advocacy support.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in public relations, communications, marketing or a related field or significant demonstrated experience.
- An understanding of the aged care sector or not-for-profit organisations - desirable.
- A demonstrated understanding of contemporary communication principles and practices.
- Proven experience in a public relations or communications role (strategy and delivery).
- The ability to engage with key internal and external stakeholders and strong networking skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to research, write, proof-read and edit a diverse range of materials.
