Caregiver in Residential Aged Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to assist with food preparation, presentation, serving, and clean-up of meals to residents in a residential aged care environment.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to customer service, food safety, and special dietary requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with monitoring and recording of the food safety program requirements
  • Contributing to a clean and safe working environment by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the food safety program

Required skills and qualifications:

  • An organised and proactive attitude in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and residents
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts and days of the week, including up to 8 hours per shift
  • A commitment to at least 3 shifts per week on an ongoing basis
  • Previous experience in hotel services (kitchen) within an aged care environment is highly desirable
