Occupational Therapist Grade 3 Clinical Leader

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Grade 3 Clinical Leader in our Sub-Acute Care stream. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and a proven track record of leading a team of therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a clinical caseload and provide a high-quality service based on evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to the planning and development of activities and services of the Occupational Therapy department.
- Actively participate in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation and GEM service.
- Manage staff clinical loads, annual leave, ADO's and conference leave in consultation with the Occupational Therapy Manager.
- Foster a culture of ongoing continuing education, research and translation of evidence-based practice.
- A sound interest and working knowledge of aged care and rehabilitation experience.
- Sound experience in the sub-acute setting, including physical rehabilitation and/or geriatric evaluation and management.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and translation of evidence to practice.
