Occupational Therapist Grade 3

Alfred Health is a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to lead and develop new models of care in our subacute program at Caulfield Hospital. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy leadership across both inpatient and community home-based rehabilitation streams, and will hold a caseload that focuses on rehabilitation for people with non-traumatic spinal injuries and patients receiving home-based rehabilitation through the Alfred Health Better@Home service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to Occupational Therapy staff
- Contribute to the development of the Allied Health service and clinical programs
- Represent Allied Health and/or Occupational Therapy at internal and external forums
- Lead and develop new models of care in the subacute program
- Hold a caseload that focuses on rehabilitation for people with non-traumatic spinal injuries and patients receiving home-based rehabilitation
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Research, or Health Management
- Full registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
- Member of OT Australia or eligible for membership
- Current Victorian Driver's License and Working with Children's Check
