Role Overview

This is a specialised carer position in home care that requires providing essential and practical support to older people living independently in their homes.

As part of this role, you will travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle and be reimbursed for kilometres driven, as well as receive paid time for travelling.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care services including assistance with showering, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Supporting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping.
  • Administering medication under the guidance of medical professionals.

About You

Successful applicants will have excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a solutions-focused approach.

They may have prior experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start their career in this field.

Requirements include holding a valid driver's license and having access to an insured, reliable vehicle (with minimum third-party property insurance).

Ideally, candidates will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
