We are seeking a skilled and experienced midwife to join our team in East Arnhem Land.

About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality antenatal and postnatal care to clients across remote communities. You will build relationships and trust with Yol'u communities, learn from and collaborate with Indigenous leaders and traditional healers, and experience a deep connection to culture and environment while contributing to sustainable health outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have current registration and practicing certificate as a registered nurse and/or midwife through AHPRA, 5 years of experience working in maternal and child health, and advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Current Registration and Practicing Certificate as Registered Nurse and/or Midwife through AHPRA
  • 5 years' experience working in Maternal and Child Health
  • Advanced Clinical Skills and Competencies Applicable to Remote Settings
  • Manual driver's license
