Job Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and experienced nanny to care for our newborn baby boy in a loving family in Sydney.

The ideal nanny would be warm, calm, and nurturing, with experience working with young or newborn babies. They should be friendly, happy, playful, and interested in actively engaging with the baby to help its growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys their role as a nanny, is patient, honest, safe, clean, tidy, responsible, and able to care for the baby and household throughout the day.

Prior experience or professional qualifications working with young or newborn babies are highly important for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for the baby
  • Follow the baby's routine
  • Prepare meals and snacks for the baby/introduce solids when required
  • Play and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the baby's development
  • Take the baby out for walks/park playground
  • Light household duties: clearing, tidying, unstacking/stacking dishwasher
  • Wash and sterilise bottles
  • Family laundry (wash, hang out, fold)
  • Preparation of family meals (occasional)
Requirements:

The family's expectations from their nanny are:

  • 5+ years experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • Young baby experience (below 6 months of age)
  • Have a current first aid certificate
  • Have a current Working with Children's Check
  • Display strong communication skills and speak English
  • Up to date with all vaccinations
  • Able to cook
  • Able to swim
  • Fitness level: fit, healthy, and active

This is a long term/Permanent role, 22.5 hours per week, Monday 8.30am - 4pm, Friday 8.30am - 4pm, Saturday 8.30am - 4pm.
