Contract length: 3 months initially and potentially longer to be considered once a child care place has been arranged.
Pay: $40-45 per hour depending on experience

A professional family in Mosman, Sydney are seeking a mature and caring nanny to assist in the care of their 1 year old son. The family also has two older children (4 and 7) however care is not needed for them as the parents deal with the drop off and pickups; however, there will be some overlap in the morning and afternoons when they will be around.

Days & hours are: 2 days per week
Tuesday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm

An ideal nanny would be mature, warm, caring, and conscientious. A nanny that is also friendly, happy, and interested to actively engage in indoor and outdoor activities with the baby which will aid in his growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable, and is able to care for the baby throughout the day and follow routines.

The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

  • To care for the baby
  • Follow the baby's routine
  • Play and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the baby's development
  • Take the baby out for walks/to the park/playground, etc.
  • General tidying up after the baby
  • Cook/prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the baby

The family's expectations from their nanny are:

  • 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • Young baby experience
  • Have a current first aid certificate
  • Have a current Working With Children's Check
  • Display strong communication skills and speak English
  • Non-smoking
