Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and informed support to individuals facing mental health crises or uncertainty.
  • Engage in regular peer-specific supervision and ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that promote mental wellbeing within the community.
Requirements
  • Personal experience of suicidal crisis or significant mental health challenge, with a strong sense of purpose and determination.
  • Passion for using lived experience to support others, offering genuine hope, empathy, and connection.
  • Understanding of the value of meeting people where they are, with compassion, dignity, and respect.
  • Intentional Peer Support (IPS) certification or commitment to completing these qualifications within 18 months of starting the role.
