The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering ELICOS programs, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery
    • Effective timetabling and management of ELICOS programs
    • Planning, development, and review of ELICOS programs
    • Monitoring of documentation, student attendance, participation, and assessment results
  • Teaching and Administration
    • Teaching classes on a regular basis and covering teacher absences
    • Recruitment and management of ELICOS Centre staff
    • Developing and managing formal and informal professional development programs
  • Student Support
    • Ensuring student academic performance and satisfaction are maximised
    • Solving problems and promptly actioning on identified issues or queries
  • Centre Management
    • Create and build a positive, can-do environment that motivates staff and students
  • Essential Criteria
    • Recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree and TESOL qualifications
    • Familiarity with English File Edition 4
    • At least three years' experience in teaching and administration/management of ELICOS programs
    • Expertise in current digital teaching technologies and resources, curriculum and materials development
    • Experience using learning management and student management systems
    • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
    • Ability to remain flexible and agile to meet organisational needs
    • Strong management and interpersonal skills, including ability to engage, motivate, challenge, and performance manage staff and build positive relationships with students
    • Ability to assess student language skills and implement actions to address student learning needs
    • Full understanding of ELICOS industry regulatory frameworks and standards
    Requirements
    • Part-time, Subcontract, Casual, Seasonal, Temp to perm
    • 20 hours per week
    • Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
