Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of cleaning services to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients.
  • Act in accordance with all manual handling protocols.
  • Assist the production teams to ensure patient satisfaction is achieved at all times.
  • Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes, code of conduct, and by participating in yearly performance appraisals and mandatory education.
  • Supports Healthscope's safety and quality improvement in all aspects of safety including Work Health & Safety.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a cleaner or infectious cleaning specialist in a hospital, aged care, or medical setting.
  • Enthusiasm, drive, and passion to prepare and maintain an appropriate work area to the highest standard of excellence.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to commit to the flexibility of working Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster including afternoon, evening, and occasional night shifts.
