Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

This Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Radiography Expert opportunity is perfect for an experienced radiographer looking to take their career to the next level. As a member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, operating advanced imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment such as Siemens CT scanners, ensuring timely examinations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans, communicating effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our radiography department, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration and NSW EPA Radiation Use License.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting, with proficiency in scanning a varied and complex case mix.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a strong focus on continuing education and staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
