Job Title

This is a full-time role for a security officer in Ballarat.

Job Description

As a security officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of staff and visitors at our premises. This includes:

- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining a secure environment by ensuring that all areas are properly secured and monitored
- Receiving deliveries, processing data entry and other administrative tasks as required
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies at all times
- Providing guidance, observing, reporting and responding to any incidents that may arise

This role involves working a rotating shift schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, which includes both day and night shifts.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a security role with a relevant security license
  • First aid certification
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Extensive customer service experience

Applicants should also have an aptitude for gatehouse work and ideally have similar experience or weighbridge experience. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure compliance with site entry requirements.
