Job Title: PM Cross-Dock Operations Supervisor

About the Role:

The PM Cross-Dock Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the afternoon/evening planning and fleet operations to ensure the safe, accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of goods.

This role involves coordinating with drivers, fleet controllers, and administrators, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and addressing any operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are completed as per current work instructions and within set KPI timeframes.
  • Maintain timely and accurate communication with customers, drivers, and management.
  • Monitor inbound freight scanning activities, validating quantities and addressing discrepancies as far as practically possible.
  • Ensure stock screen accuracy, confirm outstanding delivery information, and investigate system-critical reports via our Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Issue breach and non-conformance reports as part of driver breach management requirements.
  • Seek out and implement opportunities to reduce domestic transport costs.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience gained in a transport operations role, together with proven experience supervising teams.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards in Australia.
  • Understanding of cost management.
  • Strong analytical, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
