Pricing Strategist

This role will play a pivotal part in the continuous development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions. In this position, you will contribute to the design and deployment of strategic pricing initiatives, support request for proposal processes for ANZ customers, provide insights into pricing data and tools, and serve as a catalyst for change regarding value and market pricing structures.

• Assist in the execution of strategic pricing operations as an end-to-end process including pricing strategy development, price setting, pricing process governance, and tool maintenance in alignment with business goals.
• Maintain and evolve the strategic pricing foundation through ongoing updates of pricing science, data models, tools, and processes.
• Lead and support customer request for proposal processes in partnership with the sales team, ensuring that market dynamics and value-based pricing principles are taken into account.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect customer and market intelligence, develop effective pricing strategies, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Communicate pricing rationale and financial implications persuasively to stakeholders across functions.
• Monitor the financial performance of implemented pricing strategies, analyzing actual outcomes against projected results.
• Analyze and understand volume/price tradeoffs to judge impact on margins.
• Support change management initiatives across the broader business as the organization evolves towards a value-based pricing culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant business discipline, such as Actuarial, Accounting, Finance, Business, or other similar fields.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a comparable pricing analyst, financial analyst, or similar role.
• Strong financial acumen, with intermediate skills in data analysis, and Excel proficiency.
