We are currently seeking enthusiastic Mix Operators to become integral members of our operations team. Reporting to the Team Lead - Mix, your primary responsibility will be to support and efficiently manage plant machinery across various departments at our manufacturing facilities.

Please be aware that a pre-employment medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol screening, will be necessary as part of the recruitment process following a successful interview.

Working Hours (Rotating Roster):

Successful candidates will be expected to work on a rotating schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional voluntary weekend shifts. Hours will vary based on departmental assignments, as outlined below:

  • Morning: 4am - 12pm
  • Afternoon: 12pm - 8pm
  • Overnight: 8pm - 4am
  • Morning: 2am - 10am
  • Afternoon: 10am - 6pm
  • Overnight: 6pm - 2am

Compensation:

  • Starting rates from $29 per hour, with increases after 1 and 3 months
  • Additional penalty rates and allowances applicable

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage process machinery, which may involve various pieces of equipment that are manually, semi-automatically, or automatically controlled.
  • Ensure a consistent supply of products to maintain operational continuity, collaborating with Logistics and Production teams.
  • Collect and analyze samples.
  • Accurately gather materials according to recipe specifications and instructions.
  • Maintain essential documentation relevant to the work area.
  • Engage in training pertinent to the role and provide basic training to others as necessary.
  • Promote safety, quality, and process integrity within the organization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as required.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team under routine supervision.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adhere to all standards related to Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Hygiene, Quality Assurance, and Conduct.
  • Capability to identify faults or hazards and initiate corrective measures.
  • Reliable and diligent work ethic.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of homogenization and pasteurization processes is preferred but not essential.
