Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

Lifestyle Coordinators are responsible for planning and implementing leisure programs that enhance the overall well-being of residents in our care facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage resident-driven leisure programs, including one-to-one activities, small group sessions, and large-scale events.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a high-quality person-centered service is provided to all residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness on an ongoing basis, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting changes as needed.
  • Support the Leisure and Lifestyle Department in meeting accreditation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this).
  • Passion for delivering exceptional care that makes a tangible difference in the lives of those we support.
  • Experience in leisure and lifestyle service provision, preferably in an aged care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to undertake leisure-based assessments and care planning with individual residents.
  • Capacity to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant laws, acts, regulations, charters, and codes of practice.
  • Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
