Job Description

We are seeking skilled trades assistants to join our team for a large scale renewable energy project in the Central-West Orana region. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting tradespeople, performing manual handling tasks and setting up exclusion zones.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about clean energy and committed to driving positive change. As part of our team, you will have the chance to work on a groundbreaking project that aims to deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028.

The job involves general labouring activities such as digging trenches and clearing, spotting equipment and operators, and communicating effectively with colleagues. We require candidates who are local to the Central-West Orana region and willing to drive to Merotherie each day and work overtime including weekends.

The ideal candidate must have minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role, experience working on large scale construction/renewable projects and hold relevant certifications. They should also possess excellent communication skills and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role

  • Construction white card
  • Full C class driver's license at minimum
  • Own vehicle
  • Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
  • Exceptional communication skills and safety standards
