Job Opportunity: Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Exercise Physiologist to contribute to our team in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized exercise programs to patients, facilitating their engagement in physical activity during treatment and beyond.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding regarding the benefits and potential barriers to exercise for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
  • Provide follow-up information to patients, addressing questions and alleviating concerns where necessary.
  • Design and execute customized exercise prescriptions and transition plans for patients based on their medical history and personal characteristics.
  • Maintain detailed records and provide timely communications with clinicians.
  • Oversee the physical environment of the exercise clinic.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology with ESSA Accreditation.
  • CPR & Current First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in exercise oncology is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop exercise programs for individuals with varying physical capabilities.
  • A genuine passion for patient care and the role.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
