Project Civil Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Civil Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a key member of the engineering team, you will work on various civil, solid waste and environmental related projects.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas, with experience in design, drafting, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply intensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas
  • Complete designs using AutoCAD drafting and mathematical calculations
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications
  • Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods
  • Field work performed in varied terrain and weather will be required
  • Office based tasks including: AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications
  • Business development including: proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry related conferences/trade shows
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering design experience required
  • E.I.T. required, P.E. preferred
  • Experience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
