Securitisation/Structured Finance Expert

Our client is seeking a skilled Securitisation Analyst to join their Private Credit division.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team, evaluating new transactions in the corporate lending and structured finance space.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with Portfolio Managers and the execution team, with exposure to clients as part of the due diligence process.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, based in a modern Sydney CBD office.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse the financial health and performance of corporations
- Assess risk profiles and develop financial models to support various transactions
- Create and analyse asset-backed securities and other structured instruments
- Perform detailed cash flow projections, conduct scenario analyses, and assess the impact of different financial structures on the issuing entities
- Run due diligence for credit transactions and prepare credit papers for approval
- Collaborate effectively with trading, sales, and legal teams
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics
- Understanding of corporate financial statements and key ratios
- Familiarity with loan structures, terms, structured finance products, particularly asset-backed securities
- Knowledge of warehouse lending structures and processes
- Proficiency in analysing large datasets and loan-level data
- Ability to perform cash flow modelling for ABS transactions
- Experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations
