Strategic Financial Operations Manager

A strategic Financial Operations Manager is needed to oversee the day-to-day financial functions of a dynamic organization. This role will be responsible for managing cash flow, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis. The successful candidate will also prepare consolidated financial and management accounts, as well as year-end statutory reports. Additionally, they will manage debtors, prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, and IAS, facilitate internal and external audits, and provide monthly reporting to Cost Centre Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash flow and bank reconciliations
  • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare consolidated financial and management accounts
  • Prepare year-end statutory reports
  • Manage debtors
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, FBT, and IAS
  • Facilitate internal and external audits
  • Provide monthly reporting to Cost Centre Managers
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Accounting
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems
  • Understanding and application of IFRS and Australian Tax legislation
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
