**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Costco Wholesale in Brisbane. This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 24 hours per week, with a rotating roster including weekend work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery. They will also be responsible for restocking supplies, emptying garbage, and pulling merchandise slip sheets and loose cardboard from the sales floor.

In addition, the Warehouse Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for performing routine repairs, painting, replacing bulbs, and maintaining equipment throughout the warehouse. They will also assist in building displays and fixtures, as well as maintaining the grounds outside the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities
  • Restocking supplies and materials
  • Emptying garbage and recycling
  • Pulling merchandise and moving stock
  • Routine maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining equipment and machinery

**Requirements**

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $70,000 per year (dependent on experience)
