Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality metal products and services. We are seeking an experienced Boiler Maker to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boiler making, fabrication, and repair. Key responsibilities will include:

- Fabricating, cleaning, and rebuilding equipment
- Boilermaking and testing upon completion
- Upgrading boilers to meet customer requirements
- Reading and understanding mechanical and workshop drawings/blueprints
- Casting, cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding steel to construct and repair metal products
- Completing jobs efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently
- Maintaining tools and equipment, keeping work areas clean and organized
- Ensuring quality standards are met, checking for defects throughout production
- Performing other duties as needed within the manufacturing environment

To be successful in this position, you will require:

- Fully qualified Boiler Maker status
- At least 3 years of trade experience
- Experience with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, mobile plant, industrial machinery, welding, oxy cutting, assembly, and mechanical components
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable transportation for commuting to various locations in NSW/ACT
- Current forklift license

Beneficial qualifications include WHS White Card, Asbestos Awareness, and any High-Risk accreditation.

This role offers:

- Competitive salary: $55,000 per year
- Standard 8-hour shifts with opportunities for overtime
- Ability to commute or relocate to Queanbeyan, NSW
