Job Title: Senior Technical Architect

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical architect to drive digital transformation across our organisation.

As a senior technical architect, you will be responsible for understanding company needs and defining system specifications that meet specific business requirements.

You will plan and design technology solutions that align with our organisational goals and objectives. Your role will involve evaluating and selecting appropriate software or hardware and suggesting integration methods.

Technically overseeing assigned projects and providing guidance to team members is also an essential aspect of this role.

You will assist with solving technical problems when they arise and ensure that systems meet both user needs and business goals.

Closely partnering with external partners and internal stakeholders to develop a strong consultative relationship is key to success in this position.

Contribute to the broader organisational Architecture community and build a 'centre of excellence' by sharing your expertise and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand company needs to define system specifications
  • Plan and design technology solutions that meet specific business requirements
  • Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
  • Technically oversee assigned projects and provide guidance to team members
  • Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
  • Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
  • Partner closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to develop a strong consultative relationship
  • Contribute to the broader organisational Architecture community
Requirements:
  • 10+ years demonstrable architectural experience developing and delivering complex solutions
  • Relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification in an Information Technology or Computer Science field (preferred)
  • Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) - highly desired
  • Significant experience in presales, design, and implementation of technology solutions particularly in the Mining & Resources sector
  • Proven experience delivering organisational change and engaging with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to engage people across all levels of business and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Blend of technical, commercial, and consulting experience
  • Proven ability to create compelling proposals and value propositions
