
Paediatric Healthcare Assistant

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to children and families in the community. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced clinicians to deliver a range of services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Providing direct and indirect intervention to clients under the supervision of a clinician
- Liaising with families, teachers, professionals, and support staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment that prioritizes professional development and growth opportunities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about working in paediatrics and has a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
The ideal candidate will have completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and possess a current Blue Card and Criminal History Check. Experience working with clients in the Paediatric field, particularly those with Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Mental Health Conditions, is highly regarded.

- A strong understanding of speech therapy, occupational therapy, and/or physiotherapy principles and practices
- An ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
