Quality Assurance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide quality support across welding, coatings and insulation scopes on various projects. This includes:

  • Providing technical advice and assistance to the project team on all quality related activities
  • Assisting project staff to select and tailor or develop specifications and instructions
  • Implementing project quality management systems, quality plans and inspection test plans

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar quality assurance role, preferably within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform material inspections in accordance with governing standards and client specifications
  • Register complaints received and non-conformances identified
  • Liaise with client inspection representatives, undertaking routine surveillance
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Welding inspection or supervisor's qualification preferred (Minimum WTIA IWI, CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent)
  • NACE 1, 2 or 3 certification
  • iCorr certification
  • Relevant QA/QC experience within the Australian Oil and Gas sector
Benefits

  • 3:3 or 2:2 rosters available, depending on work scope
  • Project allowance applicable to Hook Up projects only
