Job Title: Agricultural Professional

We are seeking a motivated and skilled agricultural professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your career and gain valuable experience in the agriculture industry.

About the Role:

This position involves providing crop, pasture, and soil nutrition recommendations to support business activities by offering sound agronomic advice and support to clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, develop, and grow the existing customer base for agronomy services
  • Provide soil testing and reporting service including key recommendations
  • Participate in on-farm events and network with relevant farming bodies
  • Presentation to media and attend events as required
  • Actively participate in training provided (backed by CRT & Nutrien network), develop new skills, and implement new technologies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Agricultural Science or related field
  • Min. 1-3 years of experience in agronomy or animal nutrition
  • Good knowledge of crop chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, and general rural products
  • Experience in soil testing, water monitoring, and pasture management
  • Excellent organizational skills and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and ability to work autonomously
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
