Are you a skilled network engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Staff / Lead Network Engineer (Wireless).

About the Role

This is a highly strategic role within our company, requiring someone with expertise in designing and implementing complex network systems. You will be working closely with our Engineering Manager to develop and lead the development of network services.

Key Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an individual who can take a leading role in building complex network systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Demonstrated Network experience as an Engineer, configuring and supporting networks (Wireless Access Points, switches, routers)
  • Expertise in WiFi design, including site surveys (Predictive and on-site), RF Planning, Capacity Analysis, Wireless Security protocols such as 802.1x, EAP-TLS, NAC, and policies
  • Experience with Network Wireless Tools such as EKahau, Cisco Prime, and Cloud managed WiFi Platforms, and Wireshark
  • Understanding of RF Characteristics, Spectrum analysis, and troubleshooting interference
  • Network Automation & CI/CD Pipeline : Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, APIs, and automation scripts, Leverage Python, and PowerShell scripting for automation, utilise automation Tools such as Ansible to enhance automation workflow
  • Expert skills in managing a network through centralised controllers, configuration, and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on wireless networks
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of network security, cloud computing, and data centre networks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
