Job Description

The Application Support Analyst – Trading Systems role is a pivotal position that guarantees the reliability, stability, and efficiency of trading and risk management systems across APAC.

This challenging job requires the ability to monitor IT platforms, investigate alerts, resolve incidents, and ensure system run continuity. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in Windows environments, SQL, and scripting, as well as experience in monitoring and supporting large-scale IT systems.

In this critical role, you will provide application support to local trading users, gathering feedback and collaborating with development teams. You will also contribute to operational procedures, maintain monitoring tools, and document recurring incidents for continuous improvement.

Your expertise will be invaluable in resolving complex issues within a Follow-the-Sun model, collaborating with global support teams in Singapore and Paris. Additionally, you will share insights, propose enhancements, and support system release activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Monitoring & Stability: Monitor IT platforms, investigate alerts, resolve incidents, and ensure system run continuity.
  • User Support: Provide application support to local trading users, gathering feedback and liaising with development teams.
  • Incident Management: Collaborate with global support teams in Singapore and Paris to resolve issues within a Follow-the-Sun model.
  • Process & Documentation: Contribute to operational procedures, maintain monitoring tools, and document recurring incidents for continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share insights, propose enhancements, and support system release activities.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in IT Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years' experience in IT application support within trading or portfolio management environments.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of trading workflows, solid technical background in Windows environments, SQL, and scripting, experience in monitoring and supporting large-scale IT systems.
