We are seeking an experienced counselling professional to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. This is a fixed-term part-time position available for two years.

About the Role
  • Provide specialist clinical support and advocacy services to individuals impacted by sexual assault and their family members.
  • Deliver outreach services and educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of sexual assault.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in counselling psychology or social work with mental health accreditation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of trauma-informed practice and experience in crisis intervention.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups including adults children and families who have been impacted by sexual assault.
  • Crisis intervention skills ability to effectively intervene prioritize and manage crisis situations.
  • Inclusive practice and proven capacity to meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Ability to quickly acquire a working knowledge of Tasmanian legislation and policies pertaining to sexual assault child protection and family violence.
