About the Role

As a Mail Delivery Officer, you will be working at a bustling Delivery Centre where you will be responsible for manually sorting mail, providing exceptional customer service and performing pick-ups in a van. Your role will play a crucial part in supporting our Posties, who provide a vital service to our local community every day.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manually sort mail into logical street, number and into an appropriate round.
  • Provide customer service at the hatch.
  • Pick up mail from Corporate Post Offices and Licensed Post Offices in a van.
  • Lift and handle heavy parcels and bags of mail regularly.
  • Use manual pallet jacks and stackers to receive and despatch large volumes of mail.
About You

We are looking for someone with a great memory, excellent attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly. Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory. A full or probationary Australian driver's licence is also required.
