About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead our team at South Melbourne Park Primary School.

Salary: $1000 Sign on bonus plus a competitive salary package (estimated annual salary: AU$80,000 - AU$90,000)

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create engaging programs with industry-leading programming tools, build positive relationships within the school community, and mentor their team of educators to develop their skills and grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the OSHC service and support local families by providing quality before and after school care and Holiday Programs for their child.
  • Create engaging programs using industry-leading tools.
  • Become the face of TheirCare and create positive relationships within the school community.
  • Mentor your team of educators to develop their skills and grow within the industry.
  • Rostering for your service with support from your Area Manager.
  • Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • You are an engaging individual who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong, positive relationships.
  • Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Completed or in the process of completing an ACECQA recognised qualification, including but not limited to, studies in Teaching, Childcare or Community Services.
  • Employee Working with Children's Check valid in the relevant state.
  • Willing to obtain valid HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting.
  • Willing to obtain National Criminal History Check.
