Ecommerce Content Writer

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Content Writer to join our team at News Corp Australia. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content that drives revenue and enhances our product recommendations across various brands.
Key Responsibilities- Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our ecommerce platforms
- Pitch ideas to grow and diversify our affiliate revenue stream
- Manage, write, and edit tech deals articles
- Conduct in-depth research and interviewing experts for assigned articles
- Optimize and update existing ecommerce stories to increase their earning potential
- Cover ecommerce sale tent poles throughout the year with a focus on SEO
- Collaborate with social, email, and audience development teams to ideate and execute new content strategies
- Use purchasing data, research trends, and perform competitive analysis to inform content development
- Strong knowledge of what makes for high-quality, engaging digital content
- Clear passion and enthusiasm for News Corp Australia's brands
- Previous experience writing clean, authentic, engaging copy for a digital lifestyle brand or publication
- Previous experience working and uploading into a CMS
- Demonstrable knowledge of core SEO principles and best practices
- Organized, methodical approach to work with a creative and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work against tight deadlines
- Flair for working with individuals across different departments
