Senior Claims Specialist

A key role has become available in our plaintiff firm's Total & Permanent Disablement/Super/Income protection insurance claims division. As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will be mentored by top personal injury lawyers and work closely with injured clients to obtain justice in respect of TPD and income protection insurance claims they make via their superannuation fund.
Your responsibilities will include obtaining initial client instructions, attending to all relevant documents, reviewing medical evidence, trust deed/insurance policy, and conducting legal research to assess viability of the claim. You will also liaise with insurers/their solicitors and doctors, brief counsel, and perform day-to-day file administration until claim finalisation.

**Requirements**
- Minimum 12 months or more experience in managing TPD/income protection insurance claims either in a plaintiff or defendant personal injury law firm OR working for an insurer;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines;
