Community Research Professional

We are seeking a skilled Community Research Professional to undertake various research projects in the field. As part of this role, you will be responsible for collecting accurate data through interviews and observations, interacting with diverse individuals from different backgrounds, and working independently while contributing to a team environment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough data collection activities including interviewing and observing community members
  • Become proficient in engaging with people from all walks of life to raise awareness about research importance and benefits
  • Possess flexibility in managing your workload and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve high-quality results

Key Requirements:

  • Develop strong relationships with diverse community members by being empathetic and able to relate to their experiences
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and mature social skills in all interactions
  • Availability to work at least 20 hours per week or full-time hours, including weekdays and weekends
  • Hold a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Hold current National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Legal right to work in Australia
