Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fire Technician to join our team in Perth and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing fire alarm systems on site, testing fire protection systems and equipment, and programming fire panels and cabling.

This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a team culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
  • Identifying, testing, serving, repairing fire protection, safety systems and equipment.
  • Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner.
  • Inspecting, testing, and maintaining fixed fire systems including fire indicator panels.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments.
About You
  • Experienced Fire Technician with sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
  • Electrical 'A' Grade licence and EHAL are advantageous. Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) accreditation and Cabling licence are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Unrestricted work rights and current Driver's license.
  • Construction industry white card or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
  • Strong prioritizing skills and meeting deadlines.
