Medical Advisor Role

We are seeking a Medical Advisor to join our team in Darwin, NT. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting and mentoring staff.

About the Role
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing medicines management services to Correctional Facilities in the Top End of the NT.
  • Contribute to optimising the quality use of medicines through innovative patient care to improve the health of incarcerated Territorians.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical review of clients charts.
  • Provide professional advice in context of correctional setting.
  • Management and distribution of medications dispensed by contracted pharmacy.
  • PRN medication dispensing.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8am – 4:21pm.

Location

The Prison Health Clinic is primarily located within the Holtz Correctional Precinct, which is an approximately 25min drive from Darwin CBD, and 15min from Palmerston CBD.
